We’ve got some important news to share! Arma Reforger has rolled out a new update, and we’re here to break down what it means for our community. The update went live on August 31st, and there was a brief server downtime from 12:00 – 15:00 CET.
Key Game Changes:
- Squad Markers: Your own squad now has higher opacity markers, making it easier to distinguish from others. Squad leader nicknames are now marked with an icon.
- Bug Fixes: Several issues have been addressed, including a bug where turrets could keep firing even after a character became unconscious.
Modding Updates:
- Dynamic Markers: A new example class with documentation has been added for dynamic markers.
- Bug Fixes: Crashes related to effect positions in MuzzleEffectComponent and MotorExhaustEffectComponent have been fixed.
Workshop Updates:
- Download Issues: Various download issues have been resolved, including corrupted mod files and download progress exceeding 100%.
Known Issues:
- Server Performance: The update notes that server performance can be reduced when replicating a high number of characters. This is particularly important for us to note for our larger operations.
